This notice explains what the public checker, optional live-email test, and invite-only portal use. Managed monitoring is not accepting requests or customer data yet.

The current data path

Public DNS check
The service uses the domain you enter, public DNS and hosted-policy evidence, and limited request metadata needed for security and rate limiting.
Inquiry and onboarding
The request form uses the details you submit so an operator can review and respond. Approved onboarding also uses account, invite, organisation, domain, and report-recipient data.
Optional live-email test
When you choose the live test, the service creates a test address that works for 30 minutes. Send one small, attachment-free message from the domain being checked. The captured mailbox copy is deleted automatically after analysis. A deletion period for derived session metadata has not yet been published, so do not send confidential content.

Information used

The application can use the following categories when you choose the related function:

Domain names and the public DNS or hosted-policy evidence retrieved for a check
IP address and request metadata used for abuse prevention, security review, and operational logs
For an optional live test: the temporarily captured test message, including its headers and body; the generated address; visible sender address and domain; DKIM and limited header analysis; status; request IP address; and timing data
Name, work email, company, domain, and free-text context submitted in a monitoring inquiry
Email address, invite, account, organisation membership, approved domains, settings, and report-recipient details used in the portal

Why the information is used

The information supports the check you request, including receiving and analysing the live-test message when you choose that option, abuse prevention, inquiry follow-up, operator-approved onboarding, account security, managed monitoring, and delivery of approved reports or alerts. It is not used to enable optional analytics or marketing by default.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential security, language, and session storage operates separately from optional consent. Optional analytics and marketing are off by default, and no optional integration currently ships. The Cookie Policy explains the current controls.

csrftoken protects forms and checker actions against cross-site request forgery.
sessionid maintains an active portal session after sign-in.
django_language remembers your selected language.

Retention, service providers, and location

The test address expires after 30 minutes, and the captured live-test mailbox copy is automatically deleted after analysis. A deletion period for session metadata and analysis results has not yet been published. Managed monitoring is not accepting customer data or orders.
